The fine print, in plain English
Terms of Sale.
No legalese. Here's the agreement between you and Little Stomp when you place an order — how I price, how long made-to-order takes, what happens if something's not right, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (which I can't and won't try to talk you out of).

Who we are
Little Stomp — one person, one sewing machine.
Little Stomp is the trading name of Jenni-Anne, a sole trader based in Australia, making and selling handmade kids' clothing, bucket hats, gift bags, crochet blankets, tea towels and bowl cosys.
- Business Little Stomp — sole trader in Australia.
- Contact Email jenni-annesjewels@hotmail.com. The fastest way to reach me is email — I check it daily.
- These terms By placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Sale and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't place the order — send me a message and we'll talk it through.
Pricing and payment
All prices in AUD. No hidden fees at checkout.
- Currency All prices on this site are in Australian dollars (AUD).
- GST If GST applies, it's already included in the displayed price. A receipt is available on request — just email jenni-annesjewels@hotmail.com.
- Payment processing The website sends an order request only. Jenni-Anne confirms availability, postage and payment details by email or direct message before anything is charged. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
- When you're charged Production begins after the order is confirmed and the agreed payment has cleared.
- Price changes The price shown when you place the order is the price you pay. If a price changes after that, it doesn't affect the order you already placed.
Made-to-order items
Each piece sewn after you order it.
Most Little Stomp pieces are made to order. That means I don't keep shelves of finished stock — I cut and sew each piece after the order comes in, in the colour, size and fabric you've chosen.
- Typical lead time 5–10 business days from when payment clears to when your piece is finished and ready to post. Custom-order briefs may take a little longer — I'll quote you a date up front.
- No change-of-mind returns on made-to-order pieces Because each piece is cut and sewn specifically for you, I don't accept change-of-mind returns on made-to-order items once production has started. This is disclosed to you here, before you order.
- Your ACL rights are not affected The "no change-of-mind" rule does not override your statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If your piece arrives faulty, doesn't match the description, or is the wrong size from what you ordered — you're still entitled to a refund, replacement or repair. See Returns, refunds and your rights.
Stocked items
Ready-to-post pieces have a 30-day change-of-mind window.
A small number of pieces (mostly tea towels, gift bags, and one-off finished pieces from markets) are sold from stock and clearly marked "in stock" on the product page.
- Dispatch Stocked items are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment clearing.
- 30-day change of mind For stocked items, you can return the piece within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange — provided it's in original condition (unworn, unwashed, tags attached). You pay the return shipping.
- ACL guarantees still apply On top of the change-of-mind policy, all stocked items carry the same Australian Consumer Law guarantees as made-to-order items.
Shipping
Australia Post, tracked, Australia-wide.
Full shipping details — flat rate, free-shipping threshold, express upgrade, dispatch times — are on the Shipping page. Title and risk in the goods pass to you when Australia Post takes possession of the parcel; the parcel is tracked from that point onward.
Returns and refunds
Your ACL rights, plus a sensible change-of-mind policy on stock.
The full returns and refunds policy — including process, time-frames and how I handle faulty items — is set out on the Returns page. The short version: your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by anything in these terms, and major problems (faulty, wrong size sent, not as described) always entitle you to a remedy.
Cancellations
Within 24 hours, yes. Once scissors hit fabric, no.
- Made-to-order — within 24 hours If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing a made-to-order order, email me and I'll refund you in full — provided I haven't started cutting fabric yet.
- Made-to-order — after 24 hours or once production starts I can't cancel once production has started, because the fabric is already cut. (Your ACL rights still apply if there's a fault.)
- Stocked items Stocked items can be cancelled any time before they're posted, for a full refund.
Acceptance
Placing an order = agreeing to these terms.
By placing an order through this site, by email, or by direct message, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Sale and the Privacy Policy. The order is a contract between you and Little Stomp (Jenni-Anne, sole trader) once payment is confirmed.
Governing law
Queensland, Australia.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any dispute that can't be sorted out by emailing each other will be heard in the courts of Queensland. Nothing in these terms limits any non-excludable rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes to these terms
I may update them. The current version is always here.
If these terms change, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top will move. The current version is always at /terms.html. Orders placed before a change are governed by the terms in force at the time of the order.
